Sometimes people tell me “do not take things like that” “do not take things too seriously”, “it is only football”, “you are wasting a lot of your time only on football”. Those people do not realise the distance I have covered, the time I have spent or the hours which are required to play this sport.
Some of my proudest moments have taken place just because of this sport. Many hours have gone by and my only companion has been football. Some of my saddest moments have been caused because of my hobby and during those days of darkness, the gentle touch of a football made me feel comfortable.
The reason why I try to overcome the everyday situations and problems, I would say, is because of “football”. Because of this sport I get up very early in the morning and I go to bed very late in the evening. Therefore, for me and people like me, this hobby is not just a hobby it is the combination of all your dreams in life, past memories and the joy of the present moment.
So next time you hear the phrase: it is “Just Football”, just smile because they do not understand anything about it.

Nearly everybody is going to driving classes at the moment because they want to sit for the exam before the summer holidays. Many students at school are already eighteen, so they will be able to drive their much awaited cars and go on holiday with their friends without depending on anyone else.
This year is a very difficult one nevertheless; it is like many others as you have to study a lot. However, there is always a reward. I have been waiting to have a car for a very long time and I hope to pass my driving test very quickly in September so that I can go out with my friends to parties or places which are new and far away in my car but always controlling the situation!

In a very short period of time we will have finished our classes at the institute. The time has come when we will have to concentrate ourselves on our studies because the final exams are very important for our future studies and the possibility of going to university. If people have not taken things too seriously throughout the year, they still have the possibility to pass these exams with a lot of effort and studying. This is something that many people have never done in their lives before! Nevertheless, these two weeks will be the hardest ones for some and for others selectivity will be the worst part. When all our exams have finished and all our worries have disappeared, we will not have to think about studying for a few months and we will be able to enjoy our summer holidays as we have never done before.

I recently went on a school trip to celebrate the fact that my school companions and I are about to finish this school year and our last year at secondary school. It was a fantastic time for all of us in the Canary Islands. We spent the days relaxing, playing games… We all enjoyed ourselves and forgot about school for a short while, getting ready for our final exams which we will have to pass in the following two weeks.
As the days went by we had time to get to know one another better especially those companions with whom we had had very little relationship. When you go on holiday with your friends, everything goes well, but it is a pity that time flies! Nevertheless, it will be an experience which we will always remember and cherish throughout our lives.

BARÇA - madrid !

This Monday there's a very important football match. It isn't important for my team because we aren't playing, it's important for Football Club Barcelona, which I always want to see win the matches they play and the league. It's going to be a very difficult match as it is a Derby and Derby matches always motivate you and you always want to see a match where the players leave their “lives” trying to get the ball and dominate it all the time. When your favourite team wins you feel better than when it wins a normal match.
Many people who don't like football or don't usually watch a match on television won't watch this one but a large number of fans will watch it as they will enjoy every moment of it. I'm quite sure that Barça will win, but if it loses or draws with Real Madrid, it doesn't matter as it's just another match and they'll have to play another match in a few weeks time. Thousands of people are going to cheer their team whether it´s Barça or Real Madrid, nevertheless I think there'll be more Barça fans cheering for Barça to win as it's the best football team in all aspects. Guardiola´s the best coach and has demonstrated this fact so many times and I know that he'll make the match an enjoyable one, although the players have to do their best too. The coach alone can't win a match, the players have to play well as well. Nevertheless Mourinho is the coach for Real Madrid and he made Barça lose once and he'll probably try to do it again and as many more times as he can but I hope he doesn't succeed!!

eleccions

Today's a special day for Catalonia because it's voting day. People have been talking about who they'd vote, who they think has more possibilities of winning....etc over the past two weeks. Thousands of people won't go to vote because they think that none of the candidates are worth voting and haven't demonstrated that they'll do better than the present President of the Generalitat. The political parties which exist at the moment only think about themselves and they don´t think about Catalonia or its people. These parties talk about the Independence of Catalonia and about immigration but they don't offer a good solution to resolve the present crisis.
I can't vote because I'm not 18 yet but if I could, I wouldn't know who to vote. I think I'd probably vote in blank! This year the Greens have campaigned very well, and their publicity has been good too, although I think Artur Mas and his party will win this time and they'll probably make some kind of pact with Puigcercós. We'll know the results of these elections this evening, however I'm not too interested in them despite the fact that there are people who are interested in them. When I'm older, I'll present myself for President of the Generalitat and everybody will vote for me and they'll be very happy with my ideas and how I plan to make life in Catalonia better for everyone!!!!!!!!!!

Manlleu - Vic

Last week I had to play a match with my team Manlleu at twelve o'clock. One hour before the match we were all very nervous. The match was quite difficult and I didn´t have any confidence that we would win the match. During the first part of the match Vic was controlling it. The score was 0-1 but we had some occasions to score goals. It was a cold day and if you didn´t run a lot around the pitch you could feel the cold in your body especially your hands and feet. The match was very difficult, everybody was running all over the pitch but I don´t know if it was only because they wanted to win the match or if it was also because they were cold and wanted to keep warm. At the beginning of the second half of the match Vic scored a goal and then my team went and scored a goal in our goal area, what luck!!. The match ended with the score of 2-1 and of course my team finally lost. We didn´t deserve to lose the match. In my opinion we should have drawn, that would have been fair for everybody because we all played very hard and gave the best of ourselves. Nearly all the fans were supporting Manlleu. It was a great match but the weather was rather cold.
